Tasted by Yves Beck in April 2023 - Rated 91-93/100 "Château Beauvillage 2022 displays a bouquet of good intensity. It reveals notes of ripe dark berries and sweet spices, followed by a touch of graphite. The wine is full-bodied, with creamy, slightly grainy tannins and an incisive structure. The finish is saline and salivating

Last February, Neal Martin, a well-known journalist with the Vinous media, gave us the honour of tasting our 2019 vintage “in bottle” and giving it a nice 91/100 rating. We are pleased to share with you his tasting comment: "The 2019 Beauvillage has an engaging bouquet of vivacious brambly red berry fruit laced with cedar and black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, cedar and touches of graphite. As I mentioned from barrel, this is very harmonious with a persistent finish. Highly recommended."

For 30 years it is usually in April that the castles of the Médoc welcome you on the occasion of their «Open Doors», organized by the Office of Tourism Médoc-Vignoble and the Wine Council of the Médoc. The principle remains the same: free visits, tastings, activities, catering, etc. Classified grands crus, bourgeois crus, artisan crus or cooperative cellars, many domains of the Médoc open their doors! For the first year, we will have the immense pleasure of welcoming you with a program that will favor conviviality and sharing: bike ride and tasting at the end of the plot, We will be giving you some of our most precious secrets

Noted 96/100, Château Beauvillage won a gold medal at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. The jury of experts and influencers from the global wine trade say: “A wonderfully complex aromatic profile, full of ripe cherry and plum, cedar spices, rich mocha and a hint of smoke. The fine, silky tannic structure skillfully frames well-polished fruits and has a concentrated and persistent finish.”

James Suckling and Yves Beck tasted the 2019 Château Beauvillage and here’s what they say… thank you gentlemen! James Suckling: "A big red from here with lots of blackberries and blueberries and chocolate undertones. It’s full and flavorful. Solid structure." Yves Beck:“Inviting bouquet, of good intensity, revealing notes of black berries and spices. Fruity and slightly chalky in the mouth. This Beauvillage has character and temperament thanks to its structure that ensures freshness and supports fruity expression. Tannins appear late and provide power. They still need to blend in. A fir wine with good potential.”
