Tasting notes

The 2018 vintage has a beautiful colour, deep and clear. With olfaction, it is the elegance that seduces us by revealing delicate aromas of cherry, pomegranate and red fruits mixed with woody and vanilla fragrances. While finesse in the mouth, our sensory walk leads us to fruity flavours of cherry and cherry. The fine and delicate tannins give a touch of freshness digested on the finish.

 Gault &Millau – 90-92 /100

Slightly mocha woody, nice spices. Wood certainly but well melted. Smooth and dense mouth, velvety tannins, a beautiful structure for a wine certainly oaky but very interesting.

Bernard Burtschy – Le Figaro Magazine – 90-91/100

Dark in colour, the nose is very intense, nicely smoky. The wine is ambitious with a nice ageing and elegance. A favorite!

Aromas of stewed blackberry, dried rosemary, black olive and some mushroom. It is medium-bodied with fine tannins.

IWSC 2020 Gold Medal Competition 96 Pts
A wonderfully complex aromatic profile, full of ripe cherry and plum, cedar spice, rich mocha and a hint of smoke. The fine, silky tannin structure skillfully frames well-polished fruit, and carries a concentrated, lingering finish.

The coat, deep and dense, presents an intense carmine colour. It is the annunciator sign a walk in an extraordinary garden with a thousand and one scents! This médoc will do wonders with a refined dish such as a leg of lamb or a low-sugar chocolate dessert.
