Tasting notes

Beautiful bright red colour. The first nose is fond, greedy. Notes of small red and blue fruits are present, aromas of gooseberry and blueberry. Nice complexity to aeration with toasted notes, the wood is well integrated, melted. The mouth is well built, the tannins are coated with a nice sweetness. There is also a lot of freshness, a nice acidity that brings length. Final greedy on notes of red fruits.

Yves Beck – Glou- Glou Blog – 90/100
Filigree bouquet, subtle revealing its aging, spices and fruity notes. Sweet and inviting attack, soft touch. The wine is fruity, balanced and well carried by its tannins. These have a fine grain and are in symbiosis with the structure. A convincing wine!

The nose is fruity and offer elegance and a fine power. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, wild blackberry and small notes of small berries associated with fine hints of spices, flowers (violet, iris) as well as graphite and vanilla. The mouth is fruity, well balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and small notes of violet associated with fine touches of liquorice, caramelization and very discreet hints of vanilla.

The 2017 Beauvillage has a well defined and quite precise bouquet with lifted blackberry, raspberry and cedar aromas, a touch of mint developing with aeration. The palate ismedium-bodied with a slightly oaky entry, but there is decent fruit concentration here and the finish seems fresh and focused.
