Beautiful burgundy red color, clear on a very nice bouquet of black fruits, black cherry, blackcurrant, slightly creamy. Hints of mint and sweet spices appear in the agitation, all emphasized by a very nice woody bringing toasted notes and mocha, a nice complexity. From the attack, a very nice feeling, this Beauvillage is cut for the guard. A very nice tannic structure invades the middle of the mouth giving a lot of character to the wine and a nice acidity bringing freshness to counterbalance the power. Very nice volume and length in the finish.

Jamessuckling.com -James Suckling – 91-92
A medium-bodied red with currant, toasted oak and cedar. Some earth, too. Medium body, chewy tannins and a slightly woody finish. Needs some age to come together. Drink after 2022
Bernard Burtschy – 91-92
Beauvillage had a beautiful 2018. The castle is back with a 2019 full of flesh and greedy with in the first line a charming merlot and in support, discreet for the moment, a beautiful cabernet-sauvignon. The woodland is remarkably integrated, the whole is splendid. Congratulations.
Neal Martin – Vinous – 89-91
The 2019 Beauvillage has an engaging bouquet of vivacious brambly red berry fruit laced with cedar and black pepper. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, cedar and touches of graphite. As I mentioned from barrel, this is very harmonious with a persistent finish. Highly recommended.
Yves Beck – Beckustator – 90-92
An inviting bouquet of good intensity, revealing notes of black berries and spices. Fruity and slightly chalky in the mouth. This Beauvillage has character and temperament thanks to its structure that ensures freshness and supports the fruity expression. The tannins appear late and provide power. They still have to integrate. A fir wine, endowed with a beautiful potential.
